Paint Your Story: Art Journaling Workshop
Everyone has a story. One way to share your story is through art journaling. Art journaling weaves layers of visual images, mixed-media, and words onto the paper for an expression of self. Art journaling combines *Images * Words * Color * Ink *Fabric *Anything Really! An Art Journaling Workshop with Amber Walker, mixed media artist.
Supplies will be provided. Seats are limited so stop by or call the reference desk to reserve a seat: 207-947-8336 ext. 125. The art journal can serve as a container for the expression of memories, dreams, feelings, and thoughts. One of the best things about art journaling is anything goes! Art journaling is a skill that can be utilized for healthy, positive self-care, a creative expression of thoughts and feelings, development of creative play, and goal planning and development. In this workshop, we will play with paint, ink, markers, and words. No art experience is necessary, this is an intuitive, messy, playful way to create!
